In the book Malcolm-x Speaks by George Breitman the point that he is trying to get across is that Malcolm was a great spokesmen for the African American people.in his speeches. “Mr. Moderator, Brother Lomax, brothers and sisters, friends and enemies: I just can't believe everyone in here is a friend and I don't want to leave anybody out.”Malcolm X strikes a blend of outright revolt and openness to the other party, in hope of a peaceful resolution. which is not an easy combo. in many of his speeches he talks about how black people are no different then any other races but we are all equal.but we are not treated equally. he converted to Muslim which he was very proud of being.for many people he was a hero or Savior.the time he spent in jail he read the dictionary which many people say made him more enlightened. at the begging of his life he was more drastic but at the end he was more peaceful.i recommend this book to the the person who want to learn more about the African American culture and community.
