The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins was an amazing book. It was full of Adventure and drama, love affairs and betrayals. The Hunger Games has to be hands down one of the best books I have read in a long time. Once I started to read it I was hooked. I couldn’t put the book down. . The main character, Katniss, is a tom boy. She is very aggressive and can survive on her own. The other character, Peeta, is very shy and can’t really survive by himself. The book gets a little confusing and boring in the middle and near the end but if you read through it you would not regret it. I wont ruin the ending but it is not what you think is going to happen. That’s all I am going to say about the ending. I would have to give this book a solid 8.5 out of 10 if I had to rate it. No more. No less.
I have never read this book before but it sounds interesting
ReplyDeleteBack at Stanley, my middle school, this was one of the 3 choices to read in Mrs. Lathrope's English class. I remember it being pretty good, certainly worthy of being made into a movie. It's a shame I had to write in it as a homework assignment.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Brojan Horse it should be a great read and movie
ReplyDeleteThis was my favorite series i have read. It's really good and makes you continue to keep reading
ReplyDeleteI remember having to read this book last year. It was really good because of the plot, setting, and characters.
ReplyDeleteI think The Hunger Games is the BEST series I have ever read in my life! I LOVE the Hunger Games! I'm so obsessed with the series that I've been going back and reading the books over and over again. In my opinion, the second and third books (Catching Fire and Mockingjay) are even better than the first; if you have not read them yet, consider doing so because they are absolutely worth reading!!!
ReplyDeleteA lot of people at Stanley read this book, including me. I think that it is a really good idea, but it was only so well written. Except for a part at the end, it was fairly predictable the whole way through.
