Dear John by Nicholas Sparks

In New York Times number one bestseller, Dear John, by Nicholas Sparks, John Tyree came home on a furlough day. A rebel, who enrolled in the army after high school, had no intentions of falling in love. But when he meets Savannah, that all changes. John soon discovers how love can change someone, for the better. "For the past two and a half years, I've been staring at every full moon and remembering everything we've been through together" (228). Wrote Savannah in a letter to John, that changed their lives forever, with simple words. Will Savannah wait for John until he finishes his tour of duty? Or will his constant absence end everything they had together? The love between John and Savannah, always keeps you wanting to read more to see what will happen, the chapters end with so many different thoughts in your mind. It is hard not to keep reading!
